Janelle Simpson
Janelle is the Principal Geophysicist at the Geological Survey of Queensland. She received her PhD in geophysics from the University of Adelaide and her undergraduate in geology from Monash University. She has a background in magnetotelluric and potential field geophysics in both acquisition and modelling. Her work is focused on attracting critical metals exploration to Queensland through the supply of pre-competitive data and interpretations. She is the Chair of the Australian Magnetotelluric practitioners’ group and part of the federal executive for the Australian Society of Exploration Geophysicists.
