Diana Zivak
Dr Diana Zivak is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Adelaide. She graduated with First Class Honours in Geology and Geophysics from the University of Adelaide in 2005 and worked in coal mining and gold exploration until 2008 before commencing her PhD studies on the Tectonic Evolution of the Southern Granulite Terrane in India in 2009. She obtained her PhD from the University of Adelaide in 2014, and has worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Curtin University and University of South Australia looking at how best to use mineral chemistry (primarily rutile, zircon and monazite) to trace distal footprints of mineralising systems. Her current research as a researcher at the University of Adelaide is focused on determining the factors that control REE enrichment in marine phosphorites in the Georgina Basin, Queensland.
